OLA Sisters Ghana Province
The OLA (Our Lady's Apostles) is an international religious organisation composed of Reverend Sisters who have consecrated their lives to God through vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. The Ghana Province represents one of the vibrant expressions of our congregation's mission in West Africa.

Our Mission
To serve as living witnesses of Christ's love through evangelisation, education, healthcare, and social services. We commit ourselves to the spiritual formation of individuals and communities, with special attention to women, children, and the marginalised.
Our mission is rooted in the Gospel values of love, compassion, and service. We strive to:
- Provide quality education that forms both mind and spirit
- Offer compassionate healthcare to all, especially the poor
- Engage in community development and empowerment programmes
- Foster spiritual growth through retreats and pastoral care
- Promote justice, peace, and care for creation

Foundress of OLA Sisters
Inspired by God to establish a religious community dedicated to serving the marginalised through education and healthcare.
Bishop John Atta
Co-Founder & Spiritual Guide
Provided spiritual guidance and canonical support for the establishment of the congregation.
Sr. Theresa of the Cross
First Mother Superior
Led the first community of sisters and established the foundational spirituality of the congregation.
Sr. Josephine Marie
Missionary Pioneer to Ghana
Led the first group of OLA Sisters to Ghana, establishing the foundation for the Ghana Province.
